Neuroprep Study Techniques
Test mode Test Mode allows you to test your knowledge in Neurology and compare your performance to the performance of other students and residents. The NeuroPrep database will provide an uptodate score of other test takers on the same questions you have just answered. You should choose this mode when you have already reviewed specific Neurology topics. You may initially include only the reviewed topics in your test session, and expand to other areas as you go along with your study. Some students/residents prefer to test their knowledge on a broad variety of topics and do not initially focus on specific categories. You may initially assess your performance on all categories and identify your areas of weakness. You may then restrict your selected categories to those in which you need to build stronger knowledge. As you continue your preparation for your exam, you may follow your performance test-by-test and see your improvement. It is useful to consider where your performance stands in comparison to other test takers. Tutorial mode If you intend to use NeuroPrep for learning Neurology towards your exams/boards, this is probably the best option for you. Choose the Tutorial mode to read questions, review explanations and take notes as you go along the sessions. Your scores in Tutorial mode are not included into your final performance. Once you feel you have learnt a topic with the Tutorial Mode, you may choose the Test Mode to test your knowledge and compare your progress with your own and with others’.
