How is your database different from other board review material?

Neuroprep is the "first and best" online board/in-service review for Neurology. Our highlights include:

  • High-yield focused review: We aim to provide the maximum content in carefully selected questions. With board review material, "more" is not necessarily "better". It is the quality of questions that counts. Use your limited time wisely with Neuroprep!
  • Simulates board questions: All our questions are "single best response" type. Unlike other board review programs, we do not include multiple-response type questions (e.g., "all of the above", "A and B are correct", "A, B, and C" etc.). We also do not have negative questions (e.g. "Which is NOT a feature of", "correct response includes ALL EXCEPT", "none of the above") in keeping with the actual board style.
  • Well edited and peer-reviewed questions: We continually update our questions to be relevant and to be consistent with current guidelines and practice.

  • These features, among others, earned us high praise from Neurology (the green journal) in their review of our board review program. The review found that our test preparation material "aims to provide the best online question bank for neurology examinations, and has succeeded", is a "highly useful adjuvant study tool", is "intuitive", and "reliably detailed" (link here)

Disable Allow This Webpage to Access Your Clipboard Pop-Up Warning Message in IE7

In you are using Internet Explorer 7, there are several enhanced and tightened security features that have been incorporated. One of them is restricted Clipboard data access by websites and web pages. In Internet Explorer 7, both IE 7 installed on Windows XP or IE7 that comes together with Windows Vista, the behaviour occurs when you visit a website or webpage that tries to access the information stored in Clipboard’s memory, as Clipboard’s memory stored data can be sensitive and private. For security purposes, IE7 will pop-up a warning alert message as below:

Do you want to allow this webpage to access your Clipboard?

If you allow this, the webpage can access the Clipboard and read information that you’ve cut or copied recently.
You will then need to press or click “Don’t Allow” or “Allow” button to get pass the popup message.
This security feature can be disabled. To disable the pop up warning message about possible harmful or unauthorized Clipboard access, follow the steps below:

    1. Go to Tools -> Internet Options.
    2. Go to Security tab.
    3. Select “Internet” zone, then click on “Custom level…” button.
    4. Scroll down to “Scripting” section (at the bottom few).
    5. Under “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” option, check or select (tick) Enable. Default action for this option is Prompt, which cause the pop-up message whenever there is any attempt to access the Clipboard.
    6. Click Ok twice to exit from Internet Options.

    allow clipboard to access jpg

Changing the preference to Enable for “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” option can increase security risk. You can set it to Disable to disallow all website’s access to Clipboard’s resident data. However, the better and more secure alternative is to edit the “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” setting for “Trusted sites” zone (steps same as above, only that you select “Trusted sites” in step 3 instead of “Internet”), and add the websites that you trusted and selected into Trusted sites zone.

I can log in. But I am not able to do any tests. When I make the test selections and try to load the test page, it returns to the previous page.

This would happen if you have a non-approved character in your username like (!@#$%^&*()+_~`=\|]}[{'";;?/.,<>). If so, you would need to change your user ID before doing the test paper. Please send in a request to NeuroPrep with the desired new login ID using the feedback form or email admin@neuroprep.com
