Disable Allow This Webpage to Access Your Clipboard Pop-Up Warning Message in IE7

In you are using Internet Explorer 7, there are several enhanced and tightened security features that have been incorporated. One of them is restricted Clipboard data access by websites and web pages. In Internet Explorer 7, both IE 7 installed on Windows XP or IE7 that comes together with Windows Vista, the behaviour occurs when you visit a website or webpage that tries to access the information stored in Clipboard’s memory, as Clipboard’s memory stored data can be sensitive and private. For security purposes, IE7 will pop-up a warning alert message as below:

Do you want to allow this webpage to access your Clipboard?

If you allow this, the webpage can access the Clipboard and read information that you’ve cut or copied recently.
You will then need to press or click “Don’t Allow” or “Allow” button to get pass the popup message.
This security feature can be disabled. To disable the pop up warning message about possible harmful or unauthorized Clipboard access, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Tools -> Internet Options.
  2. Go to Security tab.
  3. Select “Internet” zone, then click on “Custom level…” button.
  4. Scroll down to “Scripting” section (at the bottom few).
  5. Under “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” option, check or select (tick) Enable. Default action for this option is Prompt, which cause the pop-up message whenever there is any attempt to access the Clipboard.
  6. Click Ok twice to exit from Internet Options.

Changing the preference to Enable for “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” option can increase security risk. You can set it to Disable to disallow all website’s access to Clipboard’s resident data. However, the better and more secure alternative is to edit the “Allow Programmatic clipboard access” setting for “Trusted sites” zone (steps same as above, only that you select “Trusted sites” in step 3 instead of “Internet”), and add the websites that you trusted and selected into Trusted sites zone.

I can log in. But I am not able to do any tests. When I make the test selections and try to load the test page, it returns to the previous page.

This would happen if you have a non-approved character in your username like (!@#$%^&*()+_~`=\|]}[{'";;?/.,<>). If so, you would need to change your user ID before doing the test paper. Please send in a request to NeuroPrep with the desired new login ID using the feedback form or email admin@neuroprep.com

What is the difference between the resident and certification/recertification subscriptions?

The resident database has more than 700 questions designed for preparation for the RITE exam. In addition, the certification/recertification database includes "sequence" style questions (sequence of 3-5 questions related to the same stem).

The resident database has more than700 questions designed for preparation for the RITE exam. If you are taking the RITE exam, you should obtain a resident account.

I am a resident but I am studying for the Neurology Board exam. Shall I use a resident or the certification/recertification account?

If you are taking the Boards, you should use the certification/recertification account. The certification/recertification database contains more than 800 questions designed for board preparation.

I just finished all questions in the database. Can you reset all my questions to "unattempted"?

We cannot reset questions to "unattempted". You can redo questions selecting "all questions". We advise doing one topic at a time to avoid repeats.

Alternatively, you can renew your account with a new subscription using two options (1) renewal: you will have all questions as you left them at last login (2) fresh account: you can reactivate as a new account with fresh questions.

I am interested in purchasing a subscription today but I don't intend to start using it until a month from now. Is there an option to pay today and activate my subscription at a later time?

Yes. Once you make the purchase please send us and email with the request to freeze your account. Once you need to have it activated, email us again with the activation request.
